A Hughes Marino Success Story: Finding a Space for Chatmeter

At Hughes Marino, we love representing our commercial clients as they find new spaces for business. Because we focus only on the renters and buyers, we can focus more sincerely on the needs of our clients when it comes to planning and design, physical distance analysis, culture consulting, and more.

Today, we’d like to share with you a success story from one of our clients.

The Problem

The early 2020s brought new insights into the viability of work-from-home and hybrid models of business. Our client at Hughes Marino, Chatmeter, was adjusting to a hybrid work model at a time when their business was growing.

What Chatmeter Needed

Because Chatmeter was a growing company, it needed a large enough space for both its current and future business needs. Furthermore, it needed a space that would allow it to keep its company culture as it grew: It needed a space that would help its employees embrace its values of bold ideas and authenticity. And this is when Hughes Marino came in.

The Solution

When looking for spaces, we considered the psychological effects a space would have on Chatmeter’s employees. To maintain the company values, an open floor plan and lots of lighting were considered ideal, and having residential-style spots within the office would make the hybrid employees feel more welcome on their days away from home. In this matter, Hughes Marino led the project to huge success.

If a large, open floor plan could be secured, it would also provide plenty of spaces for collaboration. We helped Chatmeter find an amazing space: a high-rise penthouse with high ceilings, plentiful windows, an open floor plan, and a wonderfully spacious kitchen. According to Hughes Marino specialists, this is the kind of beginning every business deserves.
