Alejandro Pena Leading Keter in Supporting the Green Spaces Initiative

Alejandro Pena is the CEO of Keter. Well, this outdoor furniture maker is one of the best in the industry. Recently, it took part in the Green Spaces Initiative at the North Miami Elementary School in Florida. According to Pena, the company participated in this initiative to share its sustainability story with the Miami community.

The initiative shows that the company’s focus is not just on innovation but also on conserving the environment. Pena led Keter employees in donating all-weather furniture, deck boxes, storage sheds, and raised garden beds to North Miami Elementary School. The raised beds were particularly a crucial donation. That is because they help keep the soil warmer as well as provide plants with improved drainage.

Best of all, these innovative beds are made from Evotech. Evotech is a composite material that is 100% recyclable. Well, this is very much in line with the company’s sustainability goals. With Alejandro Pena at the fore, Keter hopes it will continue to be a sustainability leader in the furniture market. Currently, one of its aims is to completely do away with waste at each stage of production.

Alejandro Pena was impressed by the Food Forest that Keter Green Spaces built. It went off smoothly, which was amazing. The Food Forest supports the mission of the company when it comes to sustainability. It teaches children how to grow their food, which, in turn, helps them love and care for the environment.

Pena says that it was very thoughtful of the company to come up with the Green Spaces campaign. That is because the campaign offers an effective way to share the message of sustainability with communities. Furthermore, it is an eye-opener for the company’s employees. Keter believes that environmental sustainability is the right thing to do. And, with Alejandro Pena at the fore, everyone is confident that the company’s sustainability goals will be achieved.
