Recently, Greycoat Real Estate has come forth and claimed that estate agents may not be required to have a degree to engage in the sale of houses. However, they need professional development and the right approach that will allow them to excel in the real estate sector.
The UK went ahead to approve their first-ever degree course in residential estate agency to be launched in September, as Greycoat adds. The new degree is supposed to be offered by the RAU (Royal Agricultural University). It is supposed to offer prospective estate agents a chance to get a degree that will allow them to acquire the skills that will propel their success in the industry.
The course is supposed to cover marketing, law, professional sales practice, and marketing, Greycoat later on assures. There will also be modules that are ‘hands-on’, and they include measurement, inspecting, and surveying.
According to Greycoat Real Estate, estate agents require professional development and industry qualifications that are recognized as a way of assuring consumers that they’re receiving quality services from able individuals (Bisnow).
Real estate is more of a people business, and people require local community knowledge, professional competency, and interpersonal skills to succeed. Greycoat finally states how a combination of these skills can enable an estate agent to succeed in their endeavors.
