Miki Agrawal was recently featured on a podcast called Emotionally Uncomfortable, where she shared her views on creating businesses and challenging the status quo. The entrepreneur believes women do not have to abide by the typical gender norms and pressure of being a mother.

Miki Agrawal also does not believe in splurging on items but has always worked, saved up her money, and bought things she needs. She believes in eating a clean diet and taking time for the things that matter the most, one of them being her baby. According to her, she refuses to spend more than what she makes and believes balance is a big key to being successful. The author sees social entrepreneurship as the future and feels for a business to be successful, it needs to have a strong purpose behind it.

She explains how several of her businesses help save trees, recycled projects, and clean toilets. Being raised by parents from two different countries taught her more perspectives and understanding of different cultures and customs. Growing up and from stories told by her father, she recognizes the differences between the rich and the poor. Miki Agrawal enjoys letting out some energy on a punching bag when she feels overwhelmed. She stresses for women to take time out for themselves to see friends, relax, and have fun.
Miki Agrawal was diagnosed with a hyperthyroid condition earlier in her life but beat it by taking vitamins and eating a cleaner diet. She was able to avoid the need for surgery and having to take pills for the rest of her life. She is also a published author of “Do Cool Sh**t” and “Disrupt-Her” which focus on founding and building successful startups. She lastly shares a metaphor for not only planting the seeds of success but watching them grow and not waiting for things to happen, but making them happen.
